Raffia is a natural plant fiber derived from the leaves of various palms of the Raphia<\/em> genus, mainly cultivated in Africa, Madagascar, and Southeast Asia. The fiber is extracted, dried, then used as is or slightly braided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
