This processing is based on your <strong>consent<\/strong>. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link included in every issue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Email exchanges and collaboration requests<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When you write to us (in particular at collab@hartdesignselection.com), we process the information you send: name, email address, company, the content of your message and any attachments. This data is used solely to answer your request and follow up on our relationship. This processing is based on our <strong>legitimate interest<\/strong> in responding to the enquiries we receive and, where applicable, on the <strong>performance of a contract<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Audience measurement<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to measure site traffic and understand which content interests our readers: pages viewed, visit duration, country, device type, traffic source. These statistics are anonymised and are not used to identify you personally. This processing is based on your <strong>consent<\/strong>, collected through the cookie banner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Running the website<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some technical data (IP address, browser type, connection logs) is processed by our hosting provider to keep the site secure and working properly. This processing is based on our <strong>legitimate interest<\/strong> and our <strong>legal obligations<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cookies<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A cookie is a small file stored on your device when you visit a website. Refusing audience measurement cookies has no effect on your browsing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Retention periods<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Exchanges and collaboration requests: 3 years from the last contact, unless a contract is in progress.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contract and billing data: as required by law (10 years for accounting records).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Audience measurement cookies: 13 months maximum; associated statistical data: 14 months.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Recipients and processors<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your data is never sold or rented. It is accessible only to the site&#8217;s publisher and to the technical providers that allow us to run the service:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>OVH (website hosting, France);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics audience measurement);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>MailPoet, published by Automattic (managing subscriptions and sending the HART letter).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Transfers outside the European Union<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some audience measurement data (Google) and newsletter delivery data (MailPoet, Automattic) may be transferred to the United States. These transfers are covered by the safeguards provided for by the GDPR: the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission&#8217;s standard contractual clauses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Your rights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data, and the right to object to its processing. Where processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. You may also set instructions regarding the handling of your data after your death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To exercise these rights, write to <a href=\"mailto:privacy@hartdesignselection.com\">privacy@hartdesignselection.com<\/a>.
